She loves spending her time creating art, visiting the local farmer's market and gardening. She enjoys combining science, art, and nature in her projects.

Ms. Marisa Grant

Marisa is a proud New Mexico native. Together with her husband, they have two sweet kiddos who inspire her passion for the outdoors. Marisa has an Associate of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Technician from CNM and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences from University of New Mexico. She thrives on spending time outside and she dedicated to nurturing a love for nature in children. When she is not volunteering, you can find her camping, tending to her garden, exploring crafts, or diving into new learning adventures. These pursuits not only enhance her family's homeschooling journey but also deepen her appreciation for the beauty of the natural world.

Ms. Adelle Cox

Nature Trek Leader

Adelle grew up splitting time between El Paso, TX and her grandparents ranch where she spent most of her time riding horses and exploring the desert. She loves hiking, camping, exploring, and ALL things outdoors. She knew she wanted to be a SAHM when her first child was born, which led into homeschooling both of her children. She spends her time now getting to explore nature with her children, husband and two dogs.
